About Pegangsaan
Pegangsaan is a strategic area in the heart of Jakarta with easy access to Jakarta's business center, various embassies, and the largest shopping center in the capital. Children can also freely play here because the lush trees in the garden area create a cool atmosphere.
The next choice of outdoor attractions is Diponegoro Park, which is located on Jalan Diponegoro. This family-friendly garden is clean and well-maintained. Play facilities are provided for visitors of children. Lush trees make visitors feel comfortable enjoying the atmosphere of the park.
Pegangsaan Timur No.2002 is a place that can be visited for shopping. In this market there is Cikini Gold Center as a place to sell various jewelry. Interestingly, in this market there are also many jewelry stores that sell wedding rings with attractive shapes and models. Metropole XXI on Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro No. 61 became the right place to enjoy a movie theater in the Pegangsaan area. This place was once called the Megaria cinema, but has now been renamed the Metropole XXI.

To enjoy delicious pempek at Pegangsaan, just come to Pempek Megaria. This place is in the corner of the foodcourt in the Metropole XXI area. To enjoy satay, at Pegangsaan there is Chicken & Goat Megaria Satay located on Jl. Pangeran Diponegoro No.21. This place is always crowded, especially in the hours of the afternoon. Satay served has a soft and not dry texture. The spices used are also pervasive and very pronounced. What makes this place a favorite is only satay in the form of meat, without fat.
Transportation
There are many transportation options in Pegangsaan, both in the form of kopaja and metromini. T502 Kopaja can be used to reach Jatinegara, Matraman, Tugu Tani, Gambir, to Tanah Abang. While Metromini P17 is an alternative to Pasar Senen, Cikini, Pasar Grass, and Manggarai. To go to Jalan Pemuda, Rawamangun, and Jalan Pramuka areas, use Metromini T49.
