About SCBD
SCBD is an acronym of a majestic superblock in the centre of the Jakarta, Sudirman Central Business District. By far, SCBD area is well known as business centre and biggest finance in Jakarta.
Not only become a homebase to few big offices be it national or multinational, SCBD area has grown to become a complex with apartment, hotel, and houses. SCBD is well known to be the most strategic because it is close to Semanggi intersection and main road such as Sudirman Street and Gatot Subroto Street. Added by the presence of shopping centre keeping it selling value higher everytime and thus, people also call this area as Indonesia Wall Stret.
Before becoming primma dona like now, SCBD used to be a slum area. At that time, there is no integrated property development project as big as SCBD. To build this complex, they say, PT Danayasa Arthatama Tbk as the developer had invested Rp 7.5 Trilion. Recently, it is recorded that some of the famous building ever first built in SCBD are Artha Graha Buildig, Indonesia Stock Exchange (used to be Bursa Efek Jakarta), One Pacific Place, and Equity Tower.

Not only crowded by office buildings, in SCBD area can also be found few interesting places and can be made as entertainment services or just to release stress. At weekends, you can visit Weekend Market SCBD which located at SCBD Park. SCBD Weekend Market is an outdoor bazaar event that shows various activities, starting from art, sports, and community activity.
For you who like and interested in Korean culture, you can visit Korean Culture Centre which located at Equity Tower 17th floor. Here, you can meet with other Korean culture lover. Often, this place is showing film and art show. Korean Cultural Centre also open few courses like Korean language, Korean music instrument, Korean crafts, traditional dance, and even K-pop dance.
Furthermore, for you who has already married with children, you can ask them to play and learn at Kidzania located inside Pacific Place Mall. This playing arena has 71 pavilion where kids are able to play different profession role.
Nightlife entertainment is also part of SCBD. Many offices in this place has made one of the nightclub in SCBD, Empirica visited as twice as other nightclub during after office hour. Known to be the most happening club in Jakarta, Empirica is often held big event such as inviting group of International DJ such as R3hab, Nervo, Swanky Tunes, Jordy Dazz, Chardy, March Benjamin, and many more.
Culinary
Together with Kemang, SCBD has also know as culinary heaven in South Jakarta. Various restaurant with various theme are here to fulfill your desire. One of them are the Goods Diner. Restaurant which use bar concept has been the favourite place for urban people to spend their evening till night time while enjoying The Goods Diner specialty food. If you happen to visit this restaurant, menus like Coffee Rub Burger and Filipino Short Ribs are worth to try as well.
Potato Head Garage has also become one of many hits restaurant in Jakarta. Using contemporer design equipped with unique decoration such as crystal lamp and 300 plants has made this restaurant more beautiful.
